Introduction

Thank you for your interest in becoming a designated Early Learning Coach in Georgia. Please ensure that you have determined which Designation Level you are applying for and have all required documentation available before beginning your application. Use the Georgia Coach Designation Application Guide  to support you in preparing your artifacts.

You will need to submit the following:

• resume
• written coaching agreement 
• completed coaching log
• written reflection
• professional learning experiences documentation
• letters of recommendation
• coaching video (if applying for the Professional or Master levels)

You must provide your Georgia Professional Development System (GaPDS)  number and your assigned Career Level. If you have not created and submitted your profile in GaPDS, please do that before beginning this application. Please visit www.gapds.decal.ga.gov to obtain your GaPDS number and begin your profile. Career Levels are determined by the Georgia Professional Standards Commission and are based upon the documentation you submit in your GaPDS profile.
