Introduction
The LITTLE Grant supports Family Child Care Learning Homes in building children’s foundational language and literacy skills. To offer support in language and literacy practices for young children in mixed-age settings, providers will learn how to foster positive and responsive relationships with the infants and toddlers in their care, develop children's critical early language and literacy skills, and maintain a social, emotional, and intellectual climate that supports child-initiated and child-pursued learning.

Eligibility
To be eligible you must:
- Be a Licensed Family Child Care Learning Home
- Currently have 2 or 3 Quality Rated Stars
- Be in good standing with DECAL
- Have at least three infants and/or toddlers enrolled in your program throughout the grant period
- Not be a previous participant in the LITTLE Grant opportunity
Grant Award
Providers who receive this award will attend four Saturday Institute sessions, and receive weekly/bi-weekly coaching from an Infant Toddler Specialist using Practice-Based Coaching and the LENA Grow program, classroom materials kits, and stipends for attending LITTLE Institutes.
